WHAT WE NEED:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning and executing interior design projects for residential and commercial spaces. The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to understand their needs, collaborate with architects and contractors, and deliver aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven 3 to 8+ years of experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent understanding of color, lighting, space and materials.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations and ADA compliance.
• Attention to detail and a passion for design.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Experience in project management and working with contractors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Creativity and Artistic Sense: Ability to think outside the box, conceptualize original ideas and create aesthetically pleasing designs. Strong sense of style, color theory and spatial arrangement to develop unique and personalized interiors.
• Technical Design Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), etc. Strong understanding of space planning, drafting and creating technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, etc.).
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from design concept to completion. Skills in scheduling, budgeting and ensuring timely delivery while keeping the design vision intact.
• Knowledge of Materials and Products: Strong understanding of different materials, finishes, textiles and furniture as well as their appropriate uses. Ability to source quality products and materials within budget constraints.
• Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Ability to create and manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure design choices align with financial constraints. Negotiating with vendors and suppliers to get the best prices for materials and services.
• Understanding of Building Codes & Regulations: Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and accessibility standards. Ensuring that designs comply with legal requirements and safety standards.
