Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and develop design concepts accordingly.
- Create mood boards, and layouts that reflect client vision and requirements.
- Utilize space planning principles to optimize functionality and flow within the design.
- Research and recommend materials, finishes, furniture, and decor that align with the design vision and project budget.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Oversee the project timeline, budget, and resources, ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance with design standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design innovations, and sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Diploma degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max,Coohom).
- Excellent communication,client handling and interpersonal skills.
- A robust portfolio showcasing previous design projects and concepts..
