Interior Design Estimator
- Primary Role: To accurately estimate the costs associated with interior design projects, including materials, labor, and other expenses, ensuring that projects stay within budget.
Cost Analysis:- Evaluate design plans and specifications to determine cost estimates.
Research and obtain quotes for materials, furnishings, and finishes.- Assess labor costs and subcontractor fees.
Budget Preparation:- Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.Collaboration:
Work closely with interior designers to understand design intent and project scope.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to gather accurate pricing information.
Review and analyze bid proposals and negotiate with vendors as needed.Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of cost estimates, quotes, and project changes.
- Prepare and submit reports on cost estimates and budget status.
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Knowledge of interior design materials and finishes.
Communication skills.- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
- Experience and Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.- 1 years of experience in cost estimation within the interior design industry.
