Role:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to corporate clients on a wide range of corporate and IP matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements, including licensing agreements, joint venture agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
- Conduct due diligence on IP matters in corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
- Advise clients on the protection, enforcement, and management of intellectual property rights.
- Handle IP litigation matters, including infringement disputes, oppositions, and enforcement actions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues related to corporate and IP law.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; Masters degree in Intellectual Property Law or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of handling corporate transactions and IP matters, including drafting agreements and managing IP portfolios.
- Extensive knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
