Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Integrations and Automations Engineer to join our IT team and work the automation team across our organization. This role should have the experience in
designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions between different systems and automating workflows across platforms to enhance operational efficiency and improve system reliability . The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of integrations and automation tools, scripting languages, and systems integration, strong understanding of APIs, automation frameworks, and the ability to work across different departments to identify and implement solutions with a focus on transforming manual processes into scalable, automated solutions.
What You Have To Do
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation frameworks across various business units, including IT, operations, and development.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes across various departments (e.g., IT, HR, Finance, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities , analyze requirements, and implement end-to-end automated solutions.
- Drive the automation strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements, and optimize workflows to reduce manual efforts.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks , ensuring the quality and performance of applications and systems.
- Oversee the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere to automate repetitive tasks.
- Implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet for cloud and on-prem environments.
- Monitor and optimize automated systems , troubleshooting any issues and implementing continuous improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
- Ensure all automation processes follow industry best practices for security, compliance, and scalability .
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the organization, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Build, configure, and manage automation tools and platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Zapier, or similar.
- Create and maintain automation workflows , scripts, and bots to reduce manual tasks and increase efficiency.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure quality and reliability of applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business teams, to integrate automation into existing systems and workflows.
- Monitor and maintain automated processes to ensure they are running efficiently and resolve any issues that arise.
- Provide training and support to teams on how to use and maintain automated tools and processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all automation workflows, including user guides, process maps, and troubleshooting steps.
- Ensure that all automation solutions comply with security standards and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the organizations automation capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers and teams in adopting automation tools and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in automation, tooling, and frameworks, and drive innovation in automation solutions across the organization.
Work Experience
What you have done:
- Engineering / Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, process automation, or systems integration.
- Extensive hands-on experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Selenium, or similar.
- Strong Engineering in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating tasks and processes.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
- Solid understanding of API integration and automation using RESTful services, webhooks, and other data exchange protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to automate infrastructure deployment and scaling.
- Strong proficiency with integration platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Dell Boomi, Workato).
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, SOAP , and middleware technologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, RPA tools ( UiPath, Automation Anywhere ), and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell .
- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, or Workato.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud .
