Freelance Integration Developer (Apache Camel Expert) | India | Fully Remote | Long-term Project
We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer with strong expertise in Apache Camel to design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions. This is a fully remote, long-term project, ideal for someone with a deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Integration Solutions:
- Use Apache Camel to build scalable, reusable integration solutions.
- Implement and manage Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs).
- Develop, deploy, and support integration services between on-premises, cloud-based, and third-party applications.
- API and Microservices Development:
- Create and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs to ensure smooth data exchange.
- Design and implement microservices architecture for seamless integration.
- Collaboration and Requirement Analysis:
- Work with stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and design integration workflows.
- Maintain Integration Pipelines:
- Monitor and maintain the performance of integration pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and integration flows.
- Documentation and Testing:
- Write comprehensive technical documentation, including API and integration guidelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver reliable integration solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest integration technologies and trends, particularly regarding Apache Camel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs).
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
- Familiarity with message queues (e.g., ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Integration Knowledge:
- Experience with middleware technologies and enterprise service buses (ESBs).
