Roles And Responsibility
- Develop and expand integration capabilities using API's, event-based messaging, publisher-subscriber and web services
- Provide holistic approach to integration and leverage frameworks for reusable service and wide adoption across the enterprise
- Apply development skills to building integration in a hybrid, on-premise and cloud model
- Work strategically with cross-functional teams (partners, vendors, enterprise architecture, security, infrastructure, etc.) to design and build holistic integration solutions
- Promote adoption of industry best practices on integration patterns, framework and standards that are reusable, secure and scalable
- Provide oversight on integration code, ensuring standardization, supportability and high quality
- Refactor existing legacy integrations that are tightly coupled using industry standards and tools
- Ensure high degree of quality in design by leveraging error handling and automated controls
- Lead Proof of Concepts (POC), Research and Development (R&D) and implementation of modern integration technology and tools
- Provide leadership, guidance and best practices on agile delivery, continuous integration and delivery in a DevOps model
- Provide functional and technical leadership during the design, development of integrations based on EAI and EDA architecture design patterns and best practices
- Design, enhance and refactor Integrations by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow diagrams, system capabilities and functional and technical specifications
- Provide guidance on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of data quality issues in collaboration with the different stakeholders
- Improve Integration process flow by reviewing current practices, design and modifications
- Work closely and collaborate with team members to ensure proper integration testing is completed on functional and non-functional areas, such as performance, scalability and automation.
- Participate and support various testing cycles (Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing)
Basic Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience developing enterprise integrations and architecture design
- Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to define a problem, frame it and collaborate with others to formulate a solution
- Hands-on experience with CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP PI/PO
- Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
- Deep understanding of integration architecture and design patterns, synchronous/asynchronous, real-time, batch and messaging
- Highly proficient and experience with Middleware integration concepts, REST/SOAP-based API and web services
- Deep understanding building and architecting integrations with systems such as Salesforce, SAP ECC and S/4HANA
- Deep understanding and experience with hybrid and cloud integration approaches, API led and event-driven architecture
- Experience with event-driven platforms, such as Solace or Kafka
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
