Responsibilities:

1. Insurance Claims Processing: Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently, including verifying coverage, assessing damages, and coordinating with insurance adjusters and clients to facilitate claim resolution.
2. Policy Management: Assist clients with policy inquiries, updates, and renewals. Review insurance applications, underwrite policies, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and explaining insurance policies, coverage options, and claim procedures in a clear and concise manner.
4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance policies, claims, and client interactions. Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed.
5. Risk Assessment: Evaluate insurance applications, assess risk factors, and determine appropriate coverage levels based on client needs, industry standards, and underwriting criteria.
6. Claims Investigation: Investigate insurance claims thoroughly, gathering relevant information, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing evidence to determine liability and coverage.
7. Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlements with claimants, third-party vendors, and insurance carriers to achieve favorable outcomes while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
8. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Stay informed about changes in insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations, privacy laws, and company policies.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, insurance agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to streamline processes, resolve issues, and optimize customer service delivery.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of Insurance Products: Understanding of various types of insurance policies, including life, health, auto, home, and commercial insurance.
2. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, explain insurance options, and answer questions effectively.
3. Sales Abilities: Ability to identify client needs, recommend appropriate insurance products, and close sales to meet revenue targets.
4. Customer Service Skills: Dedication to providing excellent customer service, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and processing claims efficiently.
5. Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in reviewing insurance applications, policy documents, and claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
6. Analytical Skills: Capability to assess risks, evaluate insurance applications, and determine appropriate coverage levels for clients.
7. Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of insurance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to industry standards.
8. Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance software, databases, and office applications for processing policies, managing client information, and generating reports.
9. Ethical Conduct: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, honesty, and integrity in all interactions with clients and handling sensitive financial information.
10. Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory updates through ongoing training and professional development.
