Instrumentation Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITY OF INSTRUMENT EXECUTIVE

To co-ordinate with production and other departments for preventive & break-down maintenance work of their respective departments. (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical & Instruments)

Daily review of shift report.

To raise purchase indent for various spares parts required by their department for maintenance work.

To maintain all records related to ISO, FAMIQS, and QMS of department.

To guide and train the subordinates of department for performing better efficiency work.

Participating in project & modification related activities, execution & commissioning work to be carried out as per requirement.

Improvement in day to day process operation by implementing better automation & control measure in process.

Capex loading & implementation related work as per requirement form instrumentation point of view.

Troubleshooting & new modification to be carried out in DCS which is required for better safety & controlling in process operation.

Provide technical guidance to sub ordinates whenever required.

Arrange shift schedule of instrument technician.

Maintain spare of all instrument and indent instrument.

Collaborate with vendors for instrument detail.

Complete all statutory require of government norms. (Legal Compliances)

Ensure to follow all safety rules by technician and other workers.

Ensure to do all job under permit system.

DCS logic testing and channel configuration, Graphic addition etc.

DCS loop fault finding, Backup of DCS, new connection in DCS.

Wiring of extended DCS card.

Checking of UPS power supply of DCS & other critical Instrument.

Regular PM activity of all instrument.

Incoming instrument inspection with technician.

Calibration of all instrument with timely.

Maintain all instrument operation manual, drawing, control wiring, etc.

Provide new system training in technician.

Repairable material repair and save cost.
