Instrumentation Specialist

Exp: 7-9 years

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

1. Understand the User requirements in detail and provide solutions for desired applications using standard, Emerging and potential tools & Techniques within the stipulated timelines.

2. Sound knowledge of PLCs, Drives, Motors, Power supplies, Relays, Circuit Breakers, Data Acquisition modules, Interlocks, connectors & Cables, Switches, HMI, Displays, Vision Cameras, various sensors and transducers etc.

3 Must have proficiency in working on various PLCs and programming. Should be able to interface with Platform like NI-LabVIEW. Should be able to create architectures, Diagrams and workflows.

4 Innovative thinking to automate the Existing Process and building new automation tools to improve the execution speed with accuracy.

5. Must be able to estimate the budget with reference to specifications. Must have competency in identifying the frequently required materials and component to experiment & deliver the fast solutions for applications. Should have experience in managing the inventory.

6. Must have good knowledge about material/ sensors/ component recourses and availability. Should have good workmanship to built quality solutions. Should have hands on experience of building the panels and rigs. Should be able to operate the various electrical and mechanical tools. Should have good understanding of troubleshooting the circuits and wiring diagrams. Must have skills to manage the tools and tackle's.

7. Guiding & leading the team to ensure to develop test solutions in time to meet product SOPs. Should have knowledge of 5S, Use of PPE, Working Safety, Standard industry practices.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge in Electrical and electronics Engineering

- PLC, SCADA, Drives and Panel Building, NI LabVIEW, Microsoft Office.

- Good Analytical and problem solving thinking.

- Troubleshooting techniques, 7QC tools, 8D, 5S etc

- Budgeting, costing, Inventory management

Added advantage

- PLC for test automation.

- Programming knowledge(NI Lab view etc)
