Job Description

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for an Instrumentation Engineer located in Supa, Ahmednagar. The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as process control, troubleshooting, instrumentation, electrical engineering, and calibration. They will ensure that all instruments and control systems are functioning properly, identify and resolve issues, and optimize overall system performance.

Roles and responsibilities:

Inspect complete installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to equipment specifications with operational and safety standards.
Implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, and control systems.
Prepare specifications for the purchase of electrical materials and equipment.
Planned and scheduled preventive maintenance, estimated time and materials, supervised subordinates, maintained records and prepared reports.
Determine procedures for maintenance, installation, modification, and repair of electrical equipment.
Examine electrical services for proper working procedures.
Ensuring that all the electrical equipment in the company is functioning optimally.
Ensuring that machines do not suffer breakdowns due to power failure or other any electrical problems.
Providing troubleshooting solutions to different departments in case of electrical problems
Planning the installation of new electrical installations while keeping the company's plans
Plans to improve efficiency and performance of electrical equivalents.
Ensuring that all electrical installations are as per safety standards.
Manage maintenance technicians and workers and supervise installation and servicing of electrical works.
Monitor electricity and utilities consumption and take necessary measures to reduce consumption & maintain records.
Supervise control and recommend technical materials and electrical and control equivalents suppliers.
Plan and coordinate outside contacts on local electricity supply (MSDCL)& other outsource concern dept.
Supervise and control the maintenance of activities for proper implementation, supervise schedules, and responsible for the maintenance, overhaul, repair, schedules checks, and calibration of process and PLC, VFDs, instruments, Controllers etc
Calibration & configuration of microprocessor-based bagging m/c, 3000KG,1000Kg,50kg. Scales & 100Kg, 60Kg & 20 Kg Plate form scales.
Prepare & carry out annual Calibration of 60MT Weighbridge & plate form scales with external agencies.
Maintaining minimum stock of critical spares. TPM knowledge, PM, history card, MTTR and MTBF.
Prepare & carry annual transformers filtrations.
Prepared & carried out annual electrical, Boiler & tank inspections with Govt. officials.
Maintain the record of daily Diesel consumption.
Check the monthly MSDCL electricity bills.
Maintain the records of HACCP, GMP, EMS & ISO.
Knowledge of Compliance of statutory requirement of Boiler, Electrical, Pressure, lifting, hoist etc
