- JOB DESCRPTION INSTRUMENTATION DESIGNER
Checking & Co-ordination all type of Layout Drawing activities
- Checking of Isometric drawings with complete Bill of Materials as per specifications
Verification of Hook-up diagrams for all DCS, FGS and ESD system- Verification of Equipment detail drawings as per input
Reviewing P&I diagrams of pumps and ensures design compliance with product specifications and standards
- Perform QA & QC for the Hookup, cable layout drawings, Loop drawings
Creating Instrument list, Instrument data sheets, INTOOL data sheet- Reviewing P&IDs of Junction Box, Wiring Diagram of Instruments & cable data sheet
Review company procedure, standards & specification, industry codes and relevant standard, drawings for project implementation before performing actual field inspections for acceptance of the work
- Review of various E&I Construction related documents /drawings and provide comments from QA/QC aspects
Support to other discipline engineers on E&I quality related issues- Support to respective disciplines engineers to review Quality related documents. Ensure that the Quality assurance systems are in place and are being properly implemented
Verifying engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications
- Ability to manage Civil, Structural, architectural, Electrical and Mechanical functions
Support the Engineering Team for all Design related functions- Preparing Electrical & Instrumentation drawings for the high-rise buildings, Commercial & Residential buildings, Oil and Gas Projects, Bridges and various infrastructure & Industrial projects etc.
Discuss with site engineer and Project managers about Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping & MEP drawings
- Design of Wiring report, Loop drawings, I/O reports, Instrument index
Generate I/O list, schematics and interconnection wiring diagrams for control panels- Develop designs, for instrumentation in oil and gas projects.
Collaborate with teams from disciplines to ensure that the instrumentation design aligns with the overall project goals.
- Review and understand project specifications, drawings and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Utilize widely used software tools like S3D and E3D for instrumentation design tasks.- Provide guidance to designers and engineers in the field of instrumentation.
Take part in design reviews. Contribute to improvement efforts
- Demonstrate proven experience as an instrumentation designer within the oil and gas sector.
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+years of hands of experiences in relevant field.
- Experience with SP3D(preferable), Smart Plant P&ID and Smart Plant Instrumentation.
Experience in Oil & Gas Industries is preferred.
