Description
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5-8 years of experience in the job market context of India and be familiar with various instruments used in the industry. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments, including but not limited to pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature gauges, and other types of measurement and control devices. The candidate should have a strong understanding of instrumentation principles and be able to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair various types of instruments, including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature gauges, and other types of measurement and control devices
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments
- Provide technical assistance to other team members
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in instrument maintenance and repair
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in the industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
