- Install, configure, and test complex technical systems and equipment according to customer requirements and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and customers to understand installation requirements and develop installation plans
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation feasibility, identify potential challenges, and make recommendations for efficient and effective installations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment
- Perform equipment inspections, pre-installation checks, and quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Provide training and support to customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of installed systems
- Maintain accurate documentation, including installation logs, technical manuals, and as-built drawings
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities during installations
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry standards related to the installed systems
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines throughout the installation process
- Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience (X+ years) as an Installation Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a technical or engineering environment
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the systems and equipment being installed
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals
- Familiarity with installation techniques, tools, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to adapt and find solutions in dynamic environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet installation deadlines
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites for installations, as required
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate relevant installation equipment
- Certifications or training in relevant systems or equipment installations is a plus
