About _VOIS India:
In 2009, _VOIS started operating in India and now has established global delivery centres in Pune, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
. Receiving tasks set by the coordination team, quality and feasibility checking of complex and non-standard customer access installations.
. Full project management and design responsibility of all complex and non-standard customer access installations.
. To be the initial point escalation for all installation issues that directly impact Service Delivery ability to meet and exceed One.NZ customer's expectations and exception management issues.
. Full responsibility for configuring & commissioning of complex and customer access services on multiple delivery platforms to agreed standards before acceptance handover.
. Coordinate with the external contracting and internal installresources within Service Delivery ensuring customer service demands, commitments, expectations, installation builds and augments are completed to the best cost and meet or better the specified timeframes agreed to in the workflow management system.
. Manage the resource coordination, planning, organisation and utilisation of staff to meet or better team objectives for delivery of service. This will also include managing remote staff and contractors as and when needed.
. Direct ownership of all customer access costs, to ensure maximum returns on investment ensuring budgets are not exceeded.
. Ensure national installation standards for build quality, network records, configuration and labelling are observed at all times.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:. Hands-on experience in Access layer on Optical Fibre/Transmission Networks.
. Sound knowledge of telecommunications network technologies and products & services.
. 5+ years Network Access layer delivery or support experience.
. Being reliable & taking ownership for end results, as well as the experience of impacting internal & external customers on the way.
. Hands-on experience on the following would be an added advantage: IP Routing, IPVPN, PE-CE local access, TDM/IP Voice.
. A strong focus on the customer's needs.
. Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
. Strong Access Layer knowledge
. Recent working knowledge of IT & Telecommunications terminology, access methodologies and current network topography.
. Project management / delivery skills.
. Hands-on experience on IPVPN / Transmission technologies
. Industry related professional qualification will be an added advantage.
