The Engineer will report to the Operations Supervisor of the KGSI and will be part of a global team that does Proactive operations support for Koch customers. The Engineer will work with multiple internal stakeholders and is expected to work with third party providers whenever it required and the global Infrastructure Operations team to provide a superior client experience.

The Koch Global Services (KGS) Operations Team is looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Senior Engineer with strong knowledge of working in Complex environment and utilizing the automation and proactive methodologies to resolve problem. with in this role, you will have an opportunity to work closely with a talented global technical team responsible for supporting Kochs global enterprise communications environment.
The Sr. Engineer will be a part of a Proactive Operations team that provides support and maintains Operation solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Global Services (KGS) is the global solutions provider for Koch Industries. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground level and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Global Services India (KGSI) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees.
What You Will Do
- Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ISE and Meraki network devices.
- Implement and maintain network policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Monitor and manage security infrastructure, including Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Zscaler.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management.
- Respond to security incidents and collaborate with the security team to mitigate risks.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to network and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Manage hardware and software lifecycles for network and security equipment.
- Proactive management processes - capacity/lifecycle/automation audit results/remediation.
- Facilitate escalation of complex incidents/issues, definition of proactive operations workflow & processes, identify opportunities to automate processes/tasks
- Partner with multiple teams including Engineering, Delivery, Automation Engineers, Data Analyst, and Product Owners
- Identify trends of possible systemic problems, Define ops processes & standards.
- Evaluate escalation needs and Execution of backlog/roadmap efforts.
- Troubleshoot & resolve escalated complex/prolonged
- issues, develop & design ServiceNow forms, identify process gaps & process optimization and improvements
- Liaison with Delivery team in implementation of standards and processes, customer deviations from standards to improve stability, actively increase skillset of Ops team
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 8+ years experience in a Large Scale/Global Enterprise
- Knowledge of proactive monitoring and management protocols
- Experience with cloud networking and security solutions.
- Preferably Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Cisco SD WAN, Meraki, Cisco ISE
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong communications skillset including presenting to technical and non-technical stake holders.
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce
- Practical experience with proactive and predictive analysis of all Infrastructure devices.
- Strong initiative with the ability to seek out opportunities that can create additional value for the organization
- Model Driven Programmability, Function Virtualization
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and security operations.
- Strong expertise in Cisco SD-WAN, Meraki, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Zscaler.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience with network and security troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- ITIL foundation certification and Cisco certification: CCNP
- Experience in operations and proactive management
- Experience in Cisco SDWAN, LogicMonitor, Meraki, AWS, BGP, OSPF, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ISE
- Proficient in coding: experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Python, APIs.
- Good to have knowledge on Linux administration & Cloud fundamentals, data analytics.
- Previous experience with ServiceNow Asset and ITOM suites (CMDB, Discovery, Service & Event Mapping)
- Experience with ServiceNow forms, Data Formats (JSON/YAML), Python and APIs (REST), Source Control (git), Config Management (Ansible)
- Understanding of Agile principles
- Experience working with complex enterprise and global stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ITSM best practices and capabilities
