- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and ongoing administration.
- Monitor server performance, conduct regular system checks, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Implement and maintain application-monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Provide technical support to end-users remotely and on-site for Windows installations, laptop issues, and network problems.
- Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and be available to work night shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Experience providing technical support for Windows installations, laptop repairs, and network problems.
- Understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Willingness to work night shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.
