Position: Azure Pre-sales

Overview: As an Azure Pre-sales, you'll be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services, and supporting the sales team in presenting these solutions effectively to potential clients. You'll collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding Customer Requirements: Engage with customers to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and goals.
  2. Solution Design: Design end-to-end solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure services to address customer needs. This involves architecting scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that leverage the full potential of Azure cloud technologies.
  3. Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: Create and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition of Azure solutions to customers. This may involve whiteboarding sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
  4. Proposal Development: Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals). Ensure that proposals are technically sound, aligned with customer requirements, and differentiate Azure offerings from competitors.
  5. Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, industry trends, and best practices. Stay updated on new Azure features and capabilities and assess their relevance to customer needs.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and product management, to drive successful customer engagements and achieve business objectives.
  7. Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on Azure best practices, architectural design principles, and implementation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles, with a focus on cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and management tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions, preferably in diverse industry verticals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive results independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional Information: This role may involve occasional travel to customer sites for meetings, workshops, and presentations. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate customer needs and time zone differences.
