Roles & Responsibilities
- Align to global Halma IT practices and strategy.
- Serve as a consultant, advisor, and guide to the India leadership team with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Lead a team of IT administrators and collaborate with the wider Global IT team.
- Translate the business needs into IT requirements.
- Identify gaps in existing IT support and suggest new best practices to be adopted.
- Supervise and ensure responsive to employees with effective resolution of helpdesk issues within reasonably defined time frames.
- Setting up IT infrastructure from scratch in new office setup (access, plan, specify, order, implement as a project.
- Vendor Management: Assess, appoint, and manage vendor relationship based on project requirement.
- Minimize risk and threats to IT network.
- Promote good IT security awareness to employees.
- Training employees on new initiatives and platforms when implemented.
- Agile and responsive to changing business needs.
- Perform system & network monitoring and check daily.
- Manage IT assets and control and protects the organization's IT assets throughout the asset life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition.
- Involve in IT asset management audit, policies, procedures, and processes. And Coordinate with team in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data. Develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location, and contracts.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers (On-premises and Azure Cloud) and network devices.
- Flexibility with working during evenings and weekends in case of maintenance activities.
- Responsible for efficient ticketing system to monitor incoming service desk tickets, track incidents.
- Responsible for handling IT activities related to system support using ticketing tool.
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, and administration of Microsoft products like Windows family operating systems.

Experience
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Team leading and mentoring experience.
- Project Management of IT Infrastructure.
- IT Audit experience and process implementation.
- Setting-up processes and systems with experience in documentation in a growing organization.
- Experience in Asset Management including reports.
- Certification on Azure windows servers or virtualization platform is added advantage.
- Good understanding of cloud deployments (Azure) and solutions to support the business.
- Experience in Access Control, security, and AV solutions in a professional environment
Critical Success Factors
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Experience with deploying systems in Azure and creating VNets and migrating on-primes to Azure.
- Knowledge of Windows client & servers operating systems Win 8, 10 & Server 2008, 2012 & 2016 IT Audit, Processes and Procedures with Documentations.
- Wireless network experience along with radius server configuration.
- Hands on experience with installation & configuration of Microsoft office products.
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure).Knowledge on virtualization platforms like VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V technologies.
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting hardware issues related to Dell, HP, Surface Pro & MAC Hands on experience & understanding of antivirus & other security products.
- Basic understanding of backup & recovery products.
- Vendor Management. Flexibility with working during evenings and weekends in case of maintenance activities.
Academic Qualification
- Degree or 3 years Diploma in Computers or related field.
