The IT Lead will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user services. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a focus on enhancing user experience while ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives. Position requires closely working with Business and Operations teams to assess and address user and business requirements.
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related IT
Professional Experience:
- 15-17 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, application management, and end-user services.
- Proven track record in leading IT projects related to Datacenter / construction and managing cross-functional teams in a multi-locational environment.
- Experience with system integration, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP.
- Ensure the security of IT infrastructure and business applications through the implementation of robust security measures and compliance with relevant standards.
- Identify and assess potential vendors based on their capabilities, reliability, and alignment with your organization's needs.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Create and manage the IT budget, aligning it with organizational goals and priorities.
- Ensure all IT initiatives comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor for adherence to required safety, security and quality standards.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNA, CCNP,CCIE, CCDP or equivalent to Infrastructure management certifications
- Relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS).
- ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification
Key Responsibilities:
- As the IT Lead, the Candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the technological landscape of our organization.
- Responsible for ensuring seamless operations, strategic planning, and alignment of IT initiatives with business goals.
- Must have excellent understanding of system architecture for the present and future technologies
- Should have an aptitude for solutions (understanding of the organization business) and meet user (Internal Customer) requirements by chalking out the flow and manage properly
- Experience & exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in -house information and communication systems in a multi locational environment.
- Experience in system integration, projects management, sap, operations, integration of tools and technologies.
- Lead IT initiatives in areas such as technology related to projects, operations, safety, quality, Finance, Techno commercial.
- Responsible for implementation of IT setups at new sites and office expansions.
- Regularly assess and upgrade technology and tools to improve service performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with JV partners to understand the IT solutions and implement them according to the business requirements and needs.
- Align with business requirements and provide support to Delivery organization for managing Internal / external Customer's IT requirements.
- Lead a team of support specialists, fostering a collaborative environment
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
