The Role
The Information Security Compliance Intern will work closely with the Audit & Compliance experience team, contributing to the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and audit processes. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the information security and compliance domain within a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company.
Some Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Research on latest information security frameworks
- Assist in the development of Sprinto's Common Control Framework
- Creating processes around collection and feedback related to audits
- Work with cross-functional teams including product, sales, customer support, and marketing
- Assist in implementing compliance frameworks with minimal human intervention
- Participate in initiatives to upgrade the compliance knowledge of the team
- Engage in continuous learning about various compliance frameworks and practices
- Support the maintenance of a network of audit partners globally
- Assist in ensuring a smooth compliance journey for Sprinto's customers
- Contribute to enhancing Sprinto's own security and compliance posture
Some Key Requirements Of The Role
- Available for a minimum of 3 to 6 months
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in information security, compliance frameworks, and risk assessments
- Basic understanding of various information security compliance frameworks is a plus
- Strong written communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team setup
- Eagerness to learn and gain expertise in the information security compliance domain
- Comfortable working late hours to interface with US-based prospects and customers
