Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our organization to ensure that our computer systems and network are secure from all threats. This role involves planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data, analyzing security breaches, and recommending and implementing solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Assess Security Risks:** Identify, analyze, and evaluate security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks within the information systems.

2. **Implement Security Measures:** Plan, implement, and maintain security measures to protect electronic data and systems.

3. **Monitor Security:** Monitor for security breaches and incidents, perform investigations, and create detailed reports.

4. **Compliance and Regulations:** Ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory framework, including federal laws such as,Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.

5. **Security Policy Development:** Assist in developing and maintaining company-wide security policies, procedures, and standards.

6. **Security Training:** Train staff on information security procedures and best practices.

7. **Vendor Management:** Work with third-party vendors to assess and manage risks.

8. **Incident Response:** Coordinate and execute plans to respond to security incidents.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 4-7 years of experience in information security or related field.

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.

- In-depth understanding of firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and related technologies.

- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
