Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities and duties
The mission is
- To Support interior plants as Industrial Program Engineer during the program Launches on PC&L topics viz.inventory management, packaging optimization, lean flow analysis ,logistic topics etc..
- To lead the Masterdata Audit for Packaging readiness for New development programs & serial life programs ongoing in the plants also to Coordinate with plants for audit plan
- To prepare the Packaging readiness Dashboard report to Programs, plants & business Groups
- Extract Reports from SAP & analyze it into Standard PC&L Masterdata analyzer
- Update the results in the Program Master data follow-up file & send the weekly communication e-mail to the Programs ,plants, & the Business Groups
PC&L Masterdata Audit
- Coordinate with plants for preferred audit plan & date
- To organize & send the communication to the related plant regarding audit readiness
- To conduct the audit online with the plant team & communicate the issues
People Management
- Share knowledge, Project experience & Learnings with Team Members
- Within Program Life Cycle- Functionally manage, guide and coordinate with team members
Knowledge Required
- Good knowledge of interiors packaging & operations in the plants
- Processes like Injection molding/IMG Thermoform/Covering/Foaming/Air bag weakening
- Assembly line set up/Automations
- Plastic joining process like Vibration /US welding process/Hot plate
- Packaging development for automotive parts
- Lean Manufacturing principles
- Basic knowledge of SAP
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Professional Degree Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Automotive interiors industry
- Automotive industry- (preferably TIER-I) will be an added advantage
- Ability to work in Global environment
Skills
Skills and competencies
- Drive for results, communicate & coordinate across different teams
- Excellent Presentation and communication skills English (And Foreign Language would be an added advantage)
- Leadership skills are essential to Lead the program activities
Basic knowledge about Finance will be added advantage
