Job Purpose:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marine Supply Chain Manager in our Global-Marine Supply Chain team. You will be responsible for the Management of the Marine Supply Chain team and related activities for Inchcape customers, and the procurement and supply of marine equipment and spare parts
What you'll do:
Key Accountabilities
Effective management of Inchcape's Marine Supply Chain Solutions (MSCS) team.
Proactively growing the MSCS customer base and management of the department P&L.
Coordinating control tower activities for multiple MSCS customers, including the production of warehouse reports, worldwide shipment of spare parts by air, road, and sea, shipment tracking, and ensuring timely deliveries to vessels.
Procurement and supply of marine equipment and spare parts to Inchcape customers.
Implementation and governance of a logistics IT application.
Maximizing revenue for Inchcape while ensuring the best value for the Customer.
Providing supply chain quotations to the customer for non-contracted jobs.
Maintaining a detailed log of costs and income to facilitate accurate and timely invoicing.
Maintaining effective customer contact.
Taking part in customer meetings as and when required
Key Deliverables
Positive P&L development and growth in a number of customer accounts.
Effective management of the team.
Maximizing potential synergies across the global business.
Smooth handling of all customer requests with no service failures or complaints.
Timely delivery of all shipments and customer invoicing.
Who you are:
Key Deli
Minimum 3 years previous experience in a marine supply chain leadership role.
Direct experience in the maritime purchasing and logistics industry.
Experience in managing and coaching a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and customers across multiple countries and cultures.
Self-starter and an innovative mindset.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Strong ethical values and knowledge of supply chain governance and compliance.
Excellent written and spoken English.
