We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Liner Operations in our Operations team at JNPT. You will be responsible for Preparing and maintaining the Export files required which is filing of Export Advance List, Onboard List, Vessel /Voyage declared to Port/Customs, Port related jobs and follow-up for EDI EGM, LG preparation/cancellation, vessel agency works, prepare CBF, coastal vessel Slot booking, in yard report/Berthing report sent to concern desk.
What you'll do:
Inchcape combines its worldwide infrastructure with local expertise through our global network of over 240 proprietary offices, across 60 countries and a team of more than 2,500 committed professionals. Our diverse global customer base includes owners and charterers in the oil, cruise, container, and bulk commodity sectors as well as naval, government, and intergovernmental organizations.
- Obtaining rotation number, Vessel scheduling system updated timely.
- Submission of Export Advance List (EAL), Special cargo list to Feeder operator, terminal
operators, and Partners as per respective format. Every day send in the Yard inventory of the terminal to
the concerned desk and
- Cross-verify system planning list with Export in yard / Shipping bill received / AMS / ENS data as
received from principal. Prepare Export/Plan list, CBF.
- Upon sailing arrange to send the Onboard list/details of SOC containers, Accounts statements for
each vessel for recovery purposes without any error.
- Daily follow-up with the terminals for the pendency of Export containers & submit reports to the
principal.
- Follow up T/P containers shifting from one terminal to connect on the first available vessel also
follow up on T/P custom approval prior to loading of containers on the respective vessel.
- Submission of Export General Manifest (EGM) as received and filed on ICE Gate and distribute
customs EGM ICE gate acknowledge to principle and partners.
- Email correspondence with planners and principals to resolve queries on time.
- Ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures in
accordance with ISS Quality Management System and ISS Health and Safety Environment &
HSSE Policies and procedures to deliver the highest quality services.
- Update and maintain a checklist for all vessels handled and maintain the record. As per the Audit
requirement files records kept ready for audits (share point)
Who you are:
- Preferably, with at least 2-3 years of experience in Port operations, Experience of handling
container line/ service.
- Proactive, hardworking, responsible team player with a can-do attitude, willing to work flexible
hours and handle flexible workloads.
- Proven ability to manage seamless documentation /operation & reporting transparency.
- Experience in timely data reporting through agreed timelines.
- Competent user of full Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience of office management and interfacing with external service providers
- Contributing ideas to improve processes within the team and across departments.
