Department Profile
The India Branch Ops Team supports the onshore IED (Cash Equity), Listed Derivatives - Trading & Clearing and FID business in a highly regulated environment. The team performs all front to back functions which include Account Set up, Trade Management, Position Management, Risk Management, Settlements, Cash Forecasting, Cash Management and Regulatory Reporting.
Background on the Team
The FID Ops team supports the Onshore India FID Income Business. The team supports Trade Support, Trade Reporting, Trade Settlement, Regulatory Reporting, Collateral Management functions across various Fixed Income products and now looking at FX-Foreign Exchange. India Fixed Income market has significant complexity and regulatory reporting requirements. Ops resources are required to have good knowledge of regulations, market practices, coordinate with traders, setup and manage counterparty relationships, work on exchange applications to monitor margins and collaterals, coordinate with Exchanges, Agent Banks for operational issues, performing activities like Trade Support, perform regulatory reporting, intraday Risk limits monitoring, Settlements, Collateral Management as per local requirements etc.
India FX Specialist who has worked in a India Bank or a Overseas Bank Branch in India and hands on practical experience on RBI regulations specific to India FX market.
The person is required to have knowledge of CCIL Trades, Merchant Trades etc..
