About The Job
- Salesforce Business Technology Finance requires a senior mulesoft developer.
- This is a hybrid role where one would spend time configuring, developing and testing Mulesoft integrations & API's.
- In addition to Mulesoft expertise, the individual should have knowledge of manually testing and expertise to leverage automation tools.
- You must have a good background in Finance applications with hands-on experience on Mulesoft and a good understanding of industry best practices.
- You will be responsible for configuration, development and testing through all phases of the implementation lifecycle and preferably integrating one or more ERP applications.
- Working experience in development on CloudHub 1.0 is must, knowledge/experience of Cloudhub 2.0 will be an added advantage.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver Mulesoft integrations / API's to support applications, covering both functional and technical aspects.
- Closely work with the internal Mulesoft support teams and business users to understand the business requirements, including working with 3rd party integrators.
- Participate in product and feature design sessions with developers, designers, product managers and business systems analysts.
- Build munit test automation that is effective, scalable and maintainable.
- Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
- Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
- Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- 8+ years of implementation experience in Mulesoft Anypoint Technologies.
- Working knowledge in finance domains and underlying data models (Ex: General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Assets, Banking and Settlement) and technology.
- Strong experience in SOA, REST, and web services
- Experience in Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Management, and CloudHub
- Good understanding of SOA and integration patterns
- Hands-on experience in integrating with FTP Servers and Client S3 bucket
- Design APIs in alignment with best practices and design standards
- Data mapping between different systems and data formats
- Development of APIs Complex Data Weave transformations, routing, expressions, and error handling.
- Great analytics expertise to troubleshoot issues and the ability to access and read logs on Splunk with queries
- Experience in defining test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution and defect reporting for Workday or any enterprise ERP Finance software applications.
- Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience
Desired Skills
- Consulting with Architects and other leaders on API Implementations.
- Working with Architects to design solutions to Business problems using existing and new API functionality.
- Understanding Limitations and Opportunities of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and the existing implementations.
- Git branching, merging, committing, and pull requests
- HTTPS, SQL, MQ, Certificates, SSL, XML, JSON.
- Experience with Version Control, Code Collaboration, and Continuous Integration Systems - GIT (edited)
