Job Summary
The Hospitality Team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality food and beverage services
to our guests, students, and staff. This individual is responsible for food and beverage
preparation, serving guests, and ensuring adherence to the highest service standards.
Key Responsibilities: In-charge Hospitality
- Provide attentive, courteous, and professional service to guests, ensuring a
positive dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries and requests, adapting service based on guest
preferences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage menus, including preparation
techniques, ingredients, and pairings.
- Assist in making food and beverage selections based on preferences and
dietary requirements.
- Ensure that food and beverages are prepared according to quality standards,
following hygiene and safety regulations.
- Experience in Set up food presentation stations, buffet setups, or table
service areas as per service standards.
- Uphold and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and
beverage service.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all areas
of service.
- Consistently maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas,
including tables, utensils, and equipment.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, service teams, and supervisors to ensure
smooth and efficient service.
- Communicate effectively within the team to coordinate service delivery and
address any service-related issues.
- Engage with guests to understand and meet their needs, ensuring a
satisfying and memorable experience.
- Gather and relay guest feedback continuously to improve service standards.
Qualifications And Skills Required
Graduation or Hotel Management or equivalent; certification/ Degree in hospitality or
food and beverage service is a plus.
Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hospitality or
educational setting.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, menu offerings, and service
etiquette.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanour.
Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism.
