Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of PM and EMR software implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations.
  • Conduct assessments, gather requirements, and develop implementation plans tailored to each client's needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to configure PM and EMR systems, conduct testing, and provide training and support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on PM and EMR systems, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices to clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and user guides for clients and internal staff, ensuring they are proficient in using PM and EMR systems effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, updates, and regulatory requirements related to PM and EMR software, incorporating new knowledge into implementation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) as an Implementation Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry, with a focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Experience in Practice Management (PM) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in EMR software, with experience in system configuration, testing, and deployment. PM experience is desirable but not required.
  • Project management skills, including experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, managing stakeholders, and ensuring project success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Experience in healthcare IT, regulatory compliance, and healthcare workflow analysis is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or healthcare IT (e.g., Project Management Professional - PMP, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems - CPHIMS) are preferred.
