Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of PM and EMR software implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting client expectations.
Conduct assessments, gather requirements, and develop implementation plans tailored to each client's needs and objectives.
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to configure PM and EMR systems, conduct testing, and provide training and support during go-live and post-implementation phases.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
Serve as a subject matter expert on PM and EMR systems, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and best practices to clients and internal teams.
Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and user guides for clients and internal staff, ensuring they are proficient in using PM and EMR systems effectively.
Stay informed about industry trends, updates, and regulatory requirements related to PM and EMR software, incorporating new knowledge into implementation strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
Proven experience (5-7 years) as an Implementation Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry, with a focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Experience in Practice Management (PM) is a plus.
Strong knowledge and proficiency in EMR software, with experience in system configuration, testing, and deployment. PM experience is desirable but not required.
Project management skills, including experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, managing stakeholders, and ensuring project success.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
Experience in healthcare IT, regulatory compliance, and healthcare workflow analysis is a plus.
Relevant certifications in project management or healthcare IT (e.g., Project Management Professional - PMP, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems - CPHIMS) are preferred.
