Role:
- The Immigration Specialist will be responsible for handling various U.S. visa processes in compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
- The Immigration Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for consultants, recruiters, and resource managers regarding all immigration-related matters.
- The Immigration Specialist will assist consultants in completing immigration-related forms, organize and prepare the necessary documentation to ensure a smooth petition filing process.
- This role requires ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information submitted by consultants and preparing all required legal documents.
- The Immigration Specialist will provide updates on the status of LCAs, petitions, and address any immigration-related inquiries from stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of RFE (Request for Evidence) analysis and the ability to handle RFEs.
Responsibilities:
- Guide candidates and recruiters through the initiation of the H-1B visa process.
- Ensure timely filing of LCAs, including posting and maintaining certified LCAs in PAF (Public Access File).
- Initiate the checklist of required documents and questionnaires for consultants, ensuring thorough screening and preparation of documents needed for petition filing.
- Verify client and vendor letters, and complete immigration forms such as I-129, I-129H, I-129DC. Additionally, prepare support letters for petitions.
- Demonstrate expertise in preparing and filing various H-1B petitions, including Amendments, Extensions, Transfers, and H-1B CAP filings.
- Assist with the H-1B, H-4, and B1/B2 visa stamping processes.
- Provide support for consultants during the online application process and assist with visa stamping documentation, including dispatching the required documents.
- Prepare Visitor Visa Letters, Consular Letters, and Port of Entry letters.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to immigration cases, providing regular updates to management.
- Address and resolve all immigration-related queries from consultants.
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and regulations, offering guidance to consultants accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of PERM (Program Electronic Review Management) processing is essential.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and processes.
- Expertise in handling all H-1B and H-4 visa petitions and visa stamping procedures.
- Familiarity with the B1/B2 visa stamping process.
- Proficient in LCA filing and management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work night shifts (aligned with U.S. EST time zone).
- Knowledge of global immigration processes is a plus.
