Job Purpose
- Responsible for the accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions in the financial accounting system.
- A key player in the month end process to ensure the timely close you will work closely within the Finance organization and your core functional team.
- Excellent relationships will be built and maintained with your peers in other departments to drive a culture of fiscal and commercial responsibility and to facilitate Financial knowledge transfer & acumen at all levels.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls
- Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Instrumental in the success of the month end process
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

- Relationship Management Experience
- General Ledger and Finance reconciliation experience
- From 9-15 years of experience
- 5 years in a core Finance position within the Construction industry preferred.
- Processing transactional data
Languages
- Excellent Verbal and Written English
- Arabic Language (Spoken/Written) Will Be an Advantage
