Role Summary:-
The IFRS Expert & Trainer at 4X4 Advisory will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial reporting and accounting practices comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in financial accounting, expertise in IFRS compliance, and a strong background in auditing and financial analysis. This role requires deep knowledge of IFRS standards, providing technical guidance, and supporting financial teams in complex accounting matters.

Responsibilities:-
IFRS Compliance & Financial Reporting:
- Ensure all financial statements, disclosures, and reports comply with IFRS standards.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements.
- Stay updated on any changes or new updates in IFRS and advise management on their implications.
Technical Advisory:
- Provide expert advice to the finance team on technical accounting issues related to IFRS.
- Assist in the implementation of IFRS changes, ensuring smooth integration into the company's financial processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and address any audit queries.
Accounting Policy Development:
- Develop and update the company's accounting policies and procedures in line with IFRS.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial policies and recommend necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support internal control processes and ensure their effectiveness in line with IFRS standards.
Training & Development:
- Conduct training sessions for finance and accounting teams on IFRS updates and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to team members, ensuring consistency in applying IFRS principles.
Financial Analysis & Audit Support:
- Assist in financial analysis and the preparation of audit reports.
- Support internal and external audits by providing IFRS-related expertise and documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into potential improvements in IFRS application.
Qualifications:-
- ACCA certification is required (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, or financial reporting, with a strong focus on IFRS compliance.
- Experience in a corporate or audit firm environment, working with IFRS-related reporting.
