Interfaces especially IDOCs, ODATA/API, along with SD/Logistics/MM process knowledge
Job Description
Business Process / Functional knowledge:
- General business process and integration knowledge in SD & MM modules.
Soft-skills/Analytical Skills & Other Requirements
- Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.
- Very good awareness of entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.
- Mandatory: Must be willing to work in any shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM shift or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift (all hours in IST)
Technical HANA ABAP- Hands on development (mandatory) experience of RICEF objects in both HANA ABAP & Core ABAP -
- Interfaces (mandatory):
- Strong working experience in Interface techniques such as IDOC, BAPI/API, Outbound/Inbound Proxy, and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server)
- Expert in Designing and customizing of IDOC based Interfaces and IDOC enhancements.
- Extensively worked on EDI IDOC (Inbound, Outbound, mapping with 3rd party logistics provider, message types, segment extension) and ALE (logical systems, ports, partner profiles)
- Experience in data manipulation/mapping in IDOCs. Analysis and resolution of IDOC errors
- Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots (all are mandatory)
- Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning
- Expertise in OO ABAP
- Hands-on knowledge in ODATA/API and CDS Views is mandatory.
- Hands-on development experience in different Views of HANA (Attribute & Analytical views). Creation of Calculation views from Analytical views.
- Performance Optimization techniques in SAP HANA
- Hierarchies, Measures and Joins in HANA ABAP
- Nice to have: Knowledge on S4 Hana (proxy, API, IDocs) centric integrations with SAP BTP/CPI
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Fiori
- Nice to have: IMCE Clients ODBO, ODBC, JDBC, BICS, MS Excel 2010 Connection to HDB and to Create Universe through Information Design Tool using JDBC Connections
Development Standards/Development Process
- By using Project Standards and Processes, prepare the technical design and develop the application to ensure the development work is in compliance with the specifications.
- Hands on expertise in determining and/or validating the development effort estimates.
- Assisting functional teams when necessary in the testing efforts and preparing test data.
