Qualifications & Eligibility
- :Educational Background: BA in English Literature or any related field. IELTS Certification is must
- .Experience
- :At least 2-5 years of experience in teaching English, preferably with private or government institutes
- .Experience in teaching IELTS is a must
- .Online teaching experience is preferred
.Skills
- :Thorough knowledge of learner-centered or communicative language teaching methods
- .Knowledge of current trends and developments in language teaching methodology
- .Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- .Ability to apply different methods for the improvement of students
- .Proficiency in lesson planning and module preparation
.Key Responsibilities
:Teaching & Implementation
- :Teach IELTS preparation courses effectively
- .Implement course syllabus in accordance with the set timeframe and the needs of students
- .Assess student's ability, develop and execute lesson plans to enhance students knowledge in academic areas
- .Develop/prepare and use relevant supplementary materials
.Classroom Management
- :Manage the class, creating a conducive learning environment and maintaining discipline
- .Provide mainstream language support and facilitate students practice of theoretical lessons
.Continuous Improvement
- :Use continuous improvement processes and tools to create interactive lessons
- .Evaluate students classwork and assignments, providing effective feedback
.Resource Development
- :Develop and prepare resources for students, including lesson plans and classroom activities, aligned with program objectives
.Student Support
- :Respond to or escalate student-related issues as they arise
- .Handle paperwork associated with teaching duties (curriculum development, correction of papers, weekly meetings, attendance sheets, etc.)
- .Perform any other related duties assigned by the line manager
