Job Title: Identity Infrastructure Analyst

Location: India

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity Infrastructure Analyst with a strong background in managing identity and storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in managing NetIQ CIFS storage, eDirectory, Open Enterprise Server, SuSE Linux, Dell EMC storage solutions, and LDAP. Experience with NetIQ IDM/Access Manager is desirable. This role will involve maintaining and optimizing the identity infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and high performance across all related systems.

Requirements

  • Identity and Storage Management
  • Manage NetIQ CIFS storage, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Administer and maintain eDirectory and Open Enterprise Server environments.
  • Support and manage SuSE Linux systems, including configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and maintain Dell EMC VMAX/PMAX and Isilon storage systems.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance and Optimization
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, and updates for all managed systems.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Implement and maintain LDAP directories to support authentication and authorization processes.
  • Security and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, including access controls and data protection measures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for infrastructure security and data integrity.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents to ensure the protection of systems and data.
  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with IT staff, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the effective operation of identity and storage infrastructure.
  • Participate in IT projects and provide expertise in identity and storage management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrators and support staff.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Continuously improve infrastructure management processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and storage infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in managing NetIQ CIFS storage, eDirectory, and Open Enterprise Server.
  • Strong knowledge of SuSE Linux administration.
  • Experience with Dell EMC VMAX/PMAX and Isilon storage systems.
  • Proficiency in LDAP directory management.
  • Experience with openText iPrint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetIQ IDM and Access Manager.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator), or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience in a similar role within a large enterprise or IT service provider
