Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding our digital ecosystem.
Leveraging cutting-edge tools like CAASM (Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management), our Security Data Lake, and ISPM (Identity Security Posture Management) systems, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization. Your work will have a direct impact on the safety and success of our global operations.
You'll collaborate with key stakeholders such as our Corporate IT team, which equips our workforce with the latest technology, and our dynamic technology team, which drives innovation and maintains the infrastructure that delivers outstanding value to our customers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring strong identity hygiene across these teams, safeguarding our systems and ensuring they remain resilient and secure.

The Information Security team at Xactly is a group of skilled professionals specializing in Privacy, Risk, Threat and Vulnerability, Application Security, Third Party Risk and more. They will be your allies in creating and implementing security programs, building a vibrant team of passionate engineers and analysts, and defending our computing environment from malicious activities.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring access controls and ensuring that Xactly's digital assets are secure and protected from unauthorized access. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor identity lifecycle management, role-based access controls, and federated identity solutions. In this role, you will also help to develop policies and procedures that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
You will have the opportunity to dive deep into identity governance, provisioning, and authentication, helping Xactly implement best practices and stay ahead of potential threats. The position requires a balance between technical skills, analytical capabilities, and interpersonal collaboration to manage the growing needs of our expanding business securely.
This role is based in Bangalore and reports directly to our Senior Manager, Security Operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide assurance for user access provisioning, deprovisioning, and recertification processes across Xactly systems.
- Validate adherence to Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM).
- Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOC1&2 Type II, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, HR, and application owners, to define and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) models.
- Monitor and analyze identity-related alerts and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and remediation of IAM issues.
- Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and documentation, ensuring they are communicated across the organization.
- Participate in IAM governance, contributing to the continuous improvement of Xactly's security posture.
- Work with external auditors and regulators to demonstrate IAM compliance and mitigate audit findings.
- Provide end-user support for identity and access issues, troubleshooting authentication problems and ensuring proper configurations.
- Stay informed about the latest IAM trends, technologies, and threats to help evolve Xactly's security strategies.
THE SKILL SET
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.) and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory).
- Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) and the principle of least privilege.
- Experience with IAM integration across diverse systems (e.g., cloud environments, SaaS applications, on-premises infrastructure).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR & SOC2, and how they impact IAM practices.
- Ability to automate identity management processes through scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess and prioritize IAM-related risks and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various business units and translate security requirements into practical IAM processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
