About this opportunity:
The Linux DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, scripting, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies.
What you will do:
Manage and maintain Linux servers across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
Design, deploy, and manage automation using Puppet for configuration management, ensuring consistent and reliable server configurations across environments.
Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability of microservices.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others, automating code deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
Develop scripts (using Bash, Python, or similar) to automate repetitive tasks and streamline system operations.
The skills you bring:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in a production environment.
Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for system monitoring and performance analysis
