IBM I Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an IBM I Senior Software Engineer at SenecaGlobal's Hyderabad location. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks back-end software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP).

Qualifications

*4 to 7 years of Strong Hands-on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming is a must.

*Experience on one of the IBM I Supply chain management/ERP applications is a must(Preferably KBM).

*Sound technical knowledge in Integrated Language Environment (ILE), free-format RPG, SQLRPGLE, Subfiles.

*Experienced in Creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.

*Experience in Designing, Development and Support of Software Products/ Applications in the AS400/ iSeries environment

*Technical proficiency in relevant languages and development tools required and knowledge on distributed processing is mandatory. Ability to create Sub-procedures, Subroutines and Service Programs.

*Strong programming skills.

*Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
