Roles and Responsibilities :-

The IBM EAI / Move IT Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions to enhance the interoperability of our enterprise systems. This role requires a deep understanding of IBM Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) principles, as well as expertise in Move IT and related technologies.

This role involves transition from legacy IBM EAI/Move IT architecture to Azure API services in the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architecting and deploying integration solutions that align with business goals and technology standards.

1. Integration Architecture Design: Develop and implement integration strategies and architectures to connect various enterprise applications and systems. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across the organization.

2. MoveIT Expertise: Utilize Move IT or similar managed file transfer solutions to facilitate secure, reliable, and efficient data transfers. Design and configure Move IT integrations to meet business requirements.

3. IBM EAI Integration: Hands on experience with IBM EAI to enable seamless integration between applications and platforms,

4. Solution Implementation: Lead the deployment of integration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, and orchestration. Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation and migration.

5. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Review and validate technical designs and ensure adherence to best practices. 6. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

7. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integration solutions.

8. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration architectures, designs, and processes. Ensure that all integration solutions are well-documented and easily understood by relevant stakeholders.

9.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in EAI and Move IT technologies. Propose and implement improvements to enhance integration efficiency and effectiveness

10. Azure API Services: Working knowledge of Azure Integration services such as Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid and Service bus.

Qualification & skills :-

Overall 12+ years of experience at least 6+ years, of exp being an architect.

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in EAI and integration architecture, with a strong focus on Move IT or similar managed file transfer solutions.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in EAI tools and technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, Dell Boomi), Hands-on experience with Move IT or comparable file transfer solutions, Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and API management, Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, Strong cross communication and collaboration skills between the different teams within the organization, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Project Management: Experience with project management tools and software. Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.
