We are seeking an experienced IBM Cloud Object Storage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IBM Cloud Object Storage solutions. This role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to architect, deploy, and optimize cloud storage solutions to meet business needs.
The role involves: -
- Design and architect IBM Cloud Object Storage solutions based on client requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and develop storage architecture plans.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate storage tiers, data protection strategies, and access controls.
- Deploy and configure IBM Cloud Object Storage solutions according to architectural designs and specifications.
- Install and configure software and hardware components, including storage nodes, gateways, and clients.
- Migrate data from existing storage systems to IBM Cloud Object Storage using industry-standard methodologies.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of IBM Cloud Object Storage solutions to meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms to protect data stored in IBM Cloud Object Storage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to data storage and protection.
- Integrate IBM Cloud Object Storage solutions with other systems and applications, including backup and archival systems, content management platforms, and analytics tools.
