The IBDP/MYP English HOD plays a crucial role in leading the English department in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum for English. The HOD provides leadership to the English teaching team, ensures quality teaching and learning, and contributes to the overall academic excellence of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the English department in curriculum development and implementation for IBDP and MYP.
Provide leadership and guidance to English teachers, supporting their professional development.
Ensure compliance with IB standards and practices in teaching English language and literature.
Collaborate with other department heads to integrate the English curriculum with the broader school curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress and provide support to students as needed.

Required Qualifications:
