Our mission is to grow pesticide free vegetables and establish climate-proof farms using our cutting-edge patented technology to enhance sustainability and revolutionise the way we grow vegetables.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Hydrological Studies: Perform field investigations, collect data, and analyse hydrological phenomena such as precipitation, evaporation, runoff, and groundwater flow.
- Water Resource Assessment: Assess the quantity and quality of surface water and groundwater resources through monitoring, modelling, and analysis.
- Watershed Management: Evaluate the impact of land use changes, climate variability, and human activities on watershed dynamics, and develop strategies for sustainable water resource management.
- Flood Risk Assessment and Management: Assess flood hazards, analyse floodplain dynamics, and develop flood forecasting models to support emergency preparedness and flood risk mitigation efforts.
- Drought Monitoring and Management: Monitor drought conditions, assess water availability, and develop drought management plans to mitigate the impacts of water scarcity on ecosystems, agriculture, and communities.
- Water Quality Analysis: Investigate sources of water pollution, analyse water quality data, and develop strategies to protect and improve water quality in rivers, lakes, and aquifers.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Evaluate the potential environmental impacts of water-related projects such as dams, irrigation schemes, and urban development, and recommend measures to minimise adverse effects.
- Research and Development: Conduct research to advance understanding of hydrological processes, develop innovative methods for water resource management, and contribute to scientific literature through publications and presentations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, community organisations, industry stakeholders, and other professionals to address water resource challenges, facilitate decision-making, and promote sustainable water management practices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards in water resource management projects, and provide technical expertise for regulatory permitting processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hydrology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred for research or specialised positions.
- Strong background in mathematics, statistics, and geosciences.
- Proficiency in geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and hydrological modelling software.
- Fieldwork experience and proficiency in data collection techniques such as stream gauging, groundwater sampling, and soil analysis.
- Experience in managing groundwater projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of environmental regulations and policies related to water resource management.
