We seek an intern who will help to advance our understanding of our technology by developing a comprehensive soil hydrological model.
Tasks
- Collaborate with our CTO & Head of Soil Science to understand project goals, constraints, and key variables.
- Work closely with our geochemical modeling intern and assist in formulating and implementing hydrological models that simulate the complex processes of our technology in soil.
- Support in conceptualization and design of experiments.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Hydrology, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Big Plus: Experience with relevant software tools for modeling (e.g., Hydrus, Rosetta) and programming languages.
- Big Plus: Experience with fluid flow, fluid dynamics, and hydrological modeling in natural systems.
- Experience with experimental design and execution.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week (negotiable).
