Job Description

  • Set up and operate hydraulic press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to engineering drawings and job specifications
  • Select and install appropriate tools and dies based on material and bend requirements
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency of bends
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Implement cost-saving measures in material usage and machine operation
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Mechanically inclined and experienced in metal fabrication and machine operation
