Job Description
Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician at Novotel Ibis Outer ring road Bengaluru, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within the hotel. This role demands a strong attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills, and an uncompromising commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- System Installation and Setup: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, refrigeration, and ventilation, in guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel facilities.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems to ensure uninterrupted service and guest comfort.
- Immediate Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve HVAC issues to minimize any disruption to the guest experience; provide on-call support as necessary.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety and building regulations specific to luxury hospitality environments; maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
- Energy Efficiency: Monitor HVAC systems for energy efficiency, making adjustments and recommendations to management to support sustainability initiatives.
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections, reporting regularly to the Engineering Manager.
- Guest-Focused Service: Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate courteously with guests if questions arise about room climate controls or HVAC work being performed in nearby areas.
