• Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems, including equipment, materials, labor, and installation costs for pharmaceutical facilities.

• Project Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the scope and accuracy of estimates. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.

Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to HVAC components, labor rates, and market conditions to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.

Bid Preparation: Assist in preparing and reviewing bid proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, evaluate product options, and ensure that all cost estimates are based on current market pricing.

• Compliance: Ensure that all cost estimates and project plans comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations, including cGMP and other relevant standards.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates, assumptions, and methodologies used, and prepare reports for review by senior management and stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide accurate estimates that align with project goals and timelines.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems and estimation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC estimation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, cost estimation techniques, and pharmaceutical industry requirements.

Skills: Proficiency in estimation software and tools.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
