Job Position: HVAC Design Engineer

As a HVAC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize HVAC systems for buildings of all sizes and functions.
Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and duct sizing for HVAC systems.
- Develop and review drawings and specifications for HVAC systems.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of HVAC designs.- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing HVAC systems and propose improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to HVAC design.
- Assist with construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
Use software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software to complete design tasks.- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-6 years
of experience in HVAC design for buildings. Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC load calculation software.- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards related to HVAC systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
