Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ldt. As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems for various projects. This is a full-time position that requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and related software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and analyze HVAC systems based on project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to optimize design.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components to meet project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry guidelines, and safety standards.
- Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material samples.
- Conduct field inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during construction and operation phases.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in HVAC design.
