Job Description

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Coordinator to manage and

oversee the daily operations of our HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible

for coordinating HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring projects are

completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards. This role

involves close collaboration with technicians, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee and coordinate HVAC projects from inception to

completion, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

  • Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for HVAC technicians and

subcontractors, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing

updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of HVAC materials,

parts, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement to avoid project delays.

  • Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all HVAC work is performed in

accordance with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct

quality checks and inspections as needed.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all HVAC activities, including work

orders, service reports, equipment logs, and project documentation.

  • Budget Management: Track project costs, manage budgets, and ensure that all

expenditures are within approved limits.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC technicians,

helping to troubleshoot issues and ensure proper execution of tasks.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely

delivery of materials and services. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with

key suppliers.

  • Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring HVAC technicians,

ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest industry practices and safety procedures.

  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the course of

HVAC projects, including delays, equipment failures, or client concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC

Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least

1 year in a coordination or supervisory role.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation,

maintenance, and repair processes. Proficiency in project management software and

tools.

  • Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications, such as NATE certification, are

preferred. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a

strong focus on detail and accuracy.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the

ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to anticipate and address issues proactively, ensuring

smooth project execution.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing

tasks to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC technologies and sustainability practices.
  • Experience in both residential and commercial HVAC projects.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with regular travel to project sites for inspections and meetings.
  • Collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, engineers,

technicians, and subcontractors.

  • May require occasional work during non-standard hours to meet project deadlines or

address urgent issues.

Pay: 15,000.00 - 25,000.00 per month
