Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Human Resources Specialist at Workassist in Ahmedabad. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for managing HR policies, employee benefits, personnel management, and implementing HR strategies to support the company's growth. You will also be involved in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

HR Executive responsibilities include creating referral programs, updating HR policies and overseeing our hiring processes. To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in Human Resources departments and thorough knowledge of labour legislation.

Ultimately, you will make strategic decisions for our company so that we hire, develop and retain qualified employees.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design compensation and benefits packages
• Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360 evaluations)
• Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them
• Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
• Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
• Monitor HR department s budget
• Act as the point of contact regarding labour legislation issues

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources (HR), HR Management, and HR Policies
• Knowledge of Employee Benefits and Personnel Management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in HR software and systems
• A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certifications in HR or related areas are a plus
